Studio 8100 set to open in Avon in October

Studio 8100 will open this October at the Traer Creek Plaza, next to Wal-Mart. The studio will offer ballet, jazz, contemporary dance, hip hop and break dance instruction.
The studio will run a workshop for kids on Thursday and Friday at the Eagle-Vail Pavilion. There will be classes for kids of all ages and will allow them a chance to get to know the instructors from Studio 8100.
Tasha Hamilton will join Studio 8100 from Millenium in Los Angeles. Hamilton has choreographed on the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance,” and has coached dancers on the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. She has run workshops and coached all over the world. Her brother, Misha Gabriel Hamilton, has danced in Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” and is a lead dancer in the movie “Step Up 4.”
Morgan Flahive-Foro is joining Studio 8100 after five years as a dance teacher and choreographer in Chicago and Boulder. Flahive-Foro got her BFA in acting and performance from the Chicago College of Dance. She has also trained at Hubbard Street Dance in Chicago.
