AVON – Studio Anjali at The Westin Riverfront in Avon will host a four-part yoga rejuvenation series taught by Tara Goike and Suzanne Oliver on four Sundays this September and October.
The schedule for the rejuvenation series includes:
Sunday: Cleanse and Detox – During this class, attendees will move through deep twists, cleansing and detoxifying from the core, regaining suppressed vital energy.
Sept. 23: Anjali Restorative – A relaxing style of yoga that promotes mental and physical healing. Through a spinal sequence, attendees will reach a state of intentional rest that is peaceful and nurturing, leaving you rejuvenated and grounded.
Oct. 14: Revitalize Your Heart – This practice will focus on learning the safe, secure way to practice back-bending postures without compromising your lower back.
Oct. 21: Bhava Vinyasa – Connecting breath with movements, attendees will warm up their body in a soothing and mellow way, ending class with meditative and restorative postures. This class is meant to de-stress and renew your mind and body.
The classes will be held on Sundays from 4 to 6 p.m. Each class is $25 for Athletic Club at The Westin members, $35 for non-members.
