VAIL – Samana Lounge in Vail hosts a show with one of the hottest producers from Pretty Lights Music label, Richard Blake Hanson, aka SuperVision, on Wednesday night.
“SuperVison is the only real DJ on the Pretty Lights Music Label and I can’t wait to hear the new material he has been working on. He continues to push the envelope with his hip- hop inspired beats,” said Austin Gavlak, the show’s promoter.
A master of blending genres that keep the dance floor pumping, Hanson has played more than a thousand gigs over his 12-year career. After only a couple years behind turntables, he began cutting his teeth in Music Production alongside his friends Michael Menert and Derek Vincent Smith, the duo behind Pretty Lights. He quickly fell in love with his art and began relentlessly pursuing knowledge to create a signature sound that is impossible to classify in a single genre. His hard work has payed off, allowing him to spend the last couple of years touring the country to showcase his blend of genres spanning 50 years. This year was filled with milestones for this artist, including playing to a sold-out crowd at Red Rocks. Lately Hanson has been hard at work in the studio crafting his sophomore album due out early next year, and will be showcasing some of his new material at Samana Lounge tonight.
