Teen night at Back Bowl in Eagle every Monday

EAGLE – While there’s plenty to do throughout our glorious summer days here in the valley, summer nights have always presented a void for idle teenagers – and their parents – looking for something fun and safe to keep them busy. The Back Bowl in Eagle introduces Teen V.I.P. Night at the popular bowling and entertainment center Monday nights.
The Back Bowl will set aside the entire bank of 10 lanes on the north side as a V.I.P./Teen Lounge where kids can enjoy their own brand of music under the cosmic neon lights, while taking advantage of deeply discounted $3.99 games of bowling. The idea is to give teens a place where they can hang out and enjoy each other’s company in a clean and safe environment.
Owner Joe Gonzalez has some very good insight into the needs of today’s families.
“I remember what it was like with my own kids as teens, and how difficult it was to find something fun and affordable for them to do, on their own, in an environment we were comfortable with.”
In addition to the special rate on bowling, there will be food specials available, and if parents want to tag along, there will also be drink specials for them … they’ll just have to stay in the Bowlmor Lounge or on the other side of the lanes.
“This is for the kids only,” Gonzalez said. “We want them to have a place to get together and be themselves and enjoy a bit of a party atmosphere where there’s actually something to do other than ‘hang out’.”
