The Lift in the Westin in Avon now open

AVON – The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain has opened a new restaurant called The Lift, which offers a new dining option in Avon that appeals to families and those looking for easy, casual dining. Located just steps from the resort’s Riverfront Express Gondola, The Lift’s menu is based on a comfortable all American menu that takes a fun yet heightened approach. The Lift shares a kitchen with Cima, The Westin Riverfront’s contemporary Latin kitchen by Chef Richard Sandoval. Cima and The Lift are both led by Executive Chef Radames Febles. For breakfast – served daily from 7 to 10:30 a.m. – The Lift’s menu includes golden malted waffles with berries and almond granola for $13.50, Irish oat porridge with almonds, flax seed, Colorado honey and solar dried fruit for $10.50 and steak and eggs with adobo marinated skirt steak, blacks beans, mole negro, breakfast potatoes and toast for $18.50. Dinner is served daily from 5 to 9 p.m. The Lift’s menu features a wide variety of starters, soups and salads, including potato skins, chicken wings, all-natural beef chili and cobb salad. Families love the selections of pizzas and sandwiches, including an Angus beef burger for $15, barbecued pulled pork sandwich for $14 and fish tacos for $16. Entrees include roasted chicken penn with cherry tomatoes and roasted garlic for $18, braised shortrib with potato puree and caramelized winter vegetables for $24 and steak frites, a grilled flat iron steak with truffle fries, onion marmalade and red wine sauce for $24.
