Thrifty Shops giving away gift cards
Ryan Summerlin December 4, 2012
EAGLE, Colorado- Vail’s 50th anniversary season is under way and, in honor of the celebration, the local Eagle and Edwards Thrifty Shops want to thank shoppers and donors by awarding $50 gift cards to lucky recipients at each shop. Anyone can enter to win by visiting one or both stores to register; no purchase necessary. The drawing for both gift cards takes place on Dec. 15.
“The holiday season is a special time of year and offers the perfect opportunity to thank our incredible community of donors and shoppers,” said Vail Valley Cares Director Greg Osteen. “Their continued support allowed us to distribute $250,000 in grants to local charitable organizations this year alone.”
The Vail Valley Cares “Thanks for Giving” gift card giveaway in honor of Vail’s 50th anniversary is under way now. For information call 970-926-7134 or 970-328-1444 or visit the Eagle or Edwards shops.
Donations are always being accepted at both stores. Donors can schedule a free pick up by calling 970-926-7134. Items may also be dropped off during regular store hours. Both the Eagle and Edwards shops are open six days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. To drop off donations, simply follow the on-site “donations” signs to the drop-off location at either store.
The Thrifty Shops are currently stocked with holiday items and winter gear and apparel.
