Please join us at Walking Mountains Science Center today at 5:30 p.m. for the final installation of the High Country Speaker Series, “Delicate Balance: Water Issues Between the West Slope and Front Range,” with Bill Bates, of Denver Water.

Bill Bates is a long-term employee of Denver Water and a professional engineer working in the Planning Division since 1981. He has been involved in the development of the Colorado River Cooperative Agreement, served on the Colorado River Basin Roundtable since it was first established and served in various capacities for the Colorado section of the American Water Resources Association. He has testified on behalf of Denver Water as an expert in water resources in several forums including state water court, Colorado Public Utilities Commission, Colorado Water Quality Control Commission, Colorado Water Conservation Board and in civil court proceedings.
