Congratulations to the Mountain Nose Work teams, with five of five dogs all passing their scent ORT in Wheat Ridge! If anyone wants to join in scent detection nose work, call Mark Ruark Dog Training. Keep on sniffing!
Join the us for a special chocolate-making class taught by Cornerstone Chocolates. This unique program will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the Community Programming room. The cost is $50 per person to participate (all materials included), and reservations are required. Chocolate making is for those 14 and older; children younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult. To sign up, call Vail Recreation District Community Programming at 970-479-2292.
Vail Valley, please come out to Samana Lounge today from 6 to 9 p.m. to support our dear friend and long-time local Matt (Face) McConnell! Matt was unexpectedly hospitalized and spent some time in ICU recently, and he his now recovering at home. Prizes and drink specials will be provided. There will be a silent auction, and Samana is currently accepting donations (please contact Josh at 813-546-3945 if you wish to donate). One-hundred percent of the donations from the door, prizes and silent auction will help Matt in his time of need. Pot luck is also very welcomed!
