Town Talk for October 20

Vail, CO Colorado
Eight hundred miles down, 626.1 to go! Vail Valley resident Marc Desrosiers left Colorado on Oct. 8 on his road bike bound for Detroit to raise money for three sick kids from his hometown in Michigan. On his arrival, he will run the Detroit Marathon. He is more than halfway to his goal, and his Vail friends want him to know how proud we are of him! To my family, friends and others: A special thank you for the love, prayers, flowers, visitations and telephone calls. Thank you to those who have so graciously been a companion to my husband during my absence. Another special thank you to Heritage Park Care Center and its staff during my two-month stay. It is a wonderful facility to have in this area, where everyone is positive and dedicated in what they do. God bless you. – Bud and Margie Gates.
