Vail Valley Medical Center’s Pepper Etters, physician assistant, demonstrates an airway and intubation simulation on a training mannequin for sixth- through eighth-graders Eagle County students at a recent School’s Out STEM program in conjunction with Walking Mountain Science Center. The group of 15 students visited Gypsum Urgent Care to explore the technology and tools that medical professionals use to heal our community and visitors. Hands-on activities included vital checks, X-ray, casting and splinting.
