Vail Daily letter: Touched by support
Ryan Summerlin March 20, 2013
The outpouring of support and love that we have received from the Vail community in celebration and remembrance of June Simonton has been incredible, and we are so very grateful.
We would like to extend special thanks to Pastor Beebe and his staff at the Vail Chapel for providing such a beautiful and meaningful memorial service; to Pat Hamilton for her guitar and voice and the music that has become so much a part of our family; to Tom Vucich, Carl Walker, Susie Kincaid and Sydney Summers for weaving your stories and memories and accolades into the perfect eulogy; to the Old Gypsum Printer for the service bulletins that became keepsakes for everyone; to Ed Stoner and the editorial staff at the Vail Daily for putting Mom’s story to words; and to the Town of Vail for the use of the Donovan Pavilion.
For all the cards and letters and kind words in passing, thank you, everyone.
We live in such an amazing place, and our family is truly blessed to have so many wonderful friends.
Cliff, Denny, Don and the entire Simonton family
