Vail Daily letter: Why no outrage at Bush, then?

Re: “Benghazi still a hot topic”: Give it a rest, Dick Gustafson. Benghazi was a tragedy and there is plenty of blame to spread around, but trying to make Obama, Hillary and Panetta seem indifferent to the incident doesn’t wash. You’re grasping at straws to continually find something to trash the Obama administration about so you can justify your obvious disappointment with his re-election.
Are you aware that during George W. Bush’s term from 2000-08, there were at least 11 assaults on U.S. consulates, embassies and compounds, resulting in 59 deaths and 90 wounded?
I’m sure you were outraged about those tragedies and wrote extensively about the incompetence, indifference and insensitivity of Bush’s administration. But for the life of me, I can’t seem to find any commentaries you wrote. I wonder why?
