Vail Valley ad agency honored

EDWARDS — Hill Aevium, an Edwards-based advertising agency, recently received recognition from Summit International and the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International organization.

Out of more than 5,000 submissions from 24 countries, Hill Aevium was named a bronze winner in the 2014 Summit Creative Awards for its creative work for Bravo! Vail under the Complete Branding Campaign category. Winners were selected in a range of categories from print and broadcast to emerging and social media.

Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International also presented Hill Aevium with a bronze Adrian Award for its campaign completed in 2013 for Bravo! Vail. The Adrian Awards honor creative brilliance and best practices in hospitality-, travel- and tourism-related marketing. In its 57th year, the competition has evolved into the world’s most renowned and prestigious advertising, public relations, and digital marketing competition specifically tailored for the hospitality, travel and tourism industries.

REWORKING THE BRAVO! VAIL BRAND

Vacation time is awesome, wisdom is wonderful and common sense keeps us grounded as we take our well-deserved rest and relaxation. ... It’s when we practice a lack of wisdom and demonstrate zero common sense that our vacations become less rejuvenating than we expected, and we wind up needing a vacation from our vacation.

For both awards, the campaign work included renaming the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival to Bravo! Vail, establishing a new logo and redesigning all print collateral, advertising and the Bravo! Vail website.

“The new brand has definitely caught the attention of the public with renewed enthusiasm and is a much better visual representation of the organization. My congratulations and applause go to Hill Aevium for their work on Bravo! Vail,” said James Palermo, Bravo! Vail’s executive director.

“By definition, every brand is unique and should be given a face and voice that’s unlike any other. We were able to accomplish this for the Bravo! Vail organization,” said Pati Martinez, creative director at Hill Aevium. “We look forward to the continued evolution of the creative throughout 2014 and beyond.”
