What’s new or exciting at your place? We are excited to announce that Impact Energy is now the premier seller of LED lights in the Vail Valley, and we carry a wide variety of lines to choose from. The good news is that most utility companies are offering 30 to 50 percent off all LED lighting, with the potential of up to $50,000 in LED retrofit rebates per building. Impact Energy is a preferred contractor with Energy Smart and Holy Cross Energy and can coordinate the rebate process for you.

What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? We take a white-glove, personal approach to every project, so our customers save money and reduce their energy impact on the community. Our goal is to make an existing lighting system more efficient while trying to maintain, if not enhance, the quality of the lighting. We look at each lighting retrofit from two sides — design and efficiency — so while we’re upgrading to an efficient lighting system, we’re also enhancing the quality of the light.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? At Impact Energy, we take the time to sit down with our clients to identify and prioritize the goals and solutions that will maximize their budgets. We are engaged from the first meeting to the completion of each project. Each facility will have a unique LED lighting solution based on the space’s current or desired light levels, architectural features and other operational considerations. We create a detailed, prioritized report outlining our recommendations for cost-effective, energy efficient lighting improvements and partner with local contractors to implement those solutions.

Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: Impact Energy is made up of passionate energy professionals who are committed to making buildings energy efficient, promoting a more sustainable community. We help facility managers, the hospitality industry and building professionals make informed decisions to reduce energy costs, increase energy efficiency and improve comfort and air quality.
