What goods or services do you provide? We are the newest full-service real estate brokerage in the Vail Valley, offering professional and exclusive agency representation to buyers and/or sellers in all price-points.

What’s new or exciting at your place? We are poised and determined to redefine the real estate industry in the Vail Valley. A combination of, among other things, low overhead, full transparency, clear and honest communication, high productivity, efficient and environmentally friendly business practices will enable SkyHigh Properties’ clients to directly and financially benefit from our exclusive representation without sacrificing results nor first-rate quality of service.

What strategy do you use to differentiate your business from your competition? We’re offering sellers a better, more reasonable and cost-effective alternative. We’re going to help sellers who often struggle to justify the customary listing fees and elect to try to sell their homes themselves only to find out that real estate — although not rocket science — does have its complexities which Realtors are trained and experienced to handle. As for buyers, the average buyer needs and deserves to be represented by an agent. After all, it doesn’t cost them anything, since the listing fee (or a portion of it) is already factored into the listing price. SkyHigh Properties will give our buyer clients a pre-determined cash rebate at closing. The rebate amount will depend on several factors, however our clients will always receive cash at closing while simultaneously having professional representation and securing the lowest price that market conditions will allow.

What philosophy do you follow in dealing with your customers? What can your customers expect from you? Our philosophy is simple: We combine our passion for and knowledge of the Vail Valley real estate scene with efficiency, meticulous organization, attention to detail and clear and honest communication. Then we top it off with readily available and innovative technology to represent buyers during the purchase of their home. Our mission is to appeal to like-minded individuals who appreciate a good value, demand first-class service at a reasonable cost and realize that in our evolving digital world, working smart is more impressive, practical and productive than the traditional “working hard” approach.

Tell us a little about your background, education and experience: I’m a licensed Realtor in Colorado and a member of numerous professional associations, including the National Association of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors and the Vail Board of Realtors. My professional specialties include first-time home buyers, luxury and resort homes, residential sales all price-points, investment properties and development and new construction.

I’ve been a Vail resident since 1996, am bilingual in English and Spanish and have 25 years combined experience in the real estate and service industries.

What is the most humorous thing that has happened at your business since you opened? With only a couple of months under our belt, we haven’t accumulated any humorous stories yet. But we’re excited to announce that our first listing just sold April 1, approximately 45 days after being listed with us. Comparative data shows that we sold the Red Canyon Townhome in Eagle for 8.5 percent above the last recorded sales price and 17 percent above the average of the last three sales, all in 2013. It’s clear that our real estate market is continuing to recover, and with still historically-low interest rates, sellers and buyers who’ve been on the fence for the past few years should consider making a move sooner rather than later.
