Vail’s Four Seasons rings in 2013 with a splash

The Four Seasons Resort Vail pulled out all the stops when it hosted its inaugural New Year’s Eve bash Monday night. Along with Pink Monkey Solutions, featuring Nathan Cox, the team transformed the pool area into party central with a heated tent. Some parts of the space were downright balmy. It was freezing outside but warm inside. The spa lounge area was dedicated to desserts and coffee and the Veuve Clicquot VIP section boasted an enormous fireside sitting area complete with several ice sculptures.
The DJ got things hopping and the crowd was entertained by a surprise fashion show hosted by Jenn and Luca Bruno. The Four Season Resort Director of Food and Beverage, Angelica Palladino was thrilled with the turnout.
“We sold out this afternoon,” she said. “The phone just kept on ringing today and we have reached our allowed capacity.”
Working with sponsors from Veuve Clicquot, Red Bull, Carlsberg, Slifer Real Estate and Spyder appeared to be a seamless endeavor with Palladino in the forefront.
Hats off to Nathan Cox of Pink Monkey for making what some feared would be impossible – to make a warm, comfortable space with ambiance on a single digit temperature night. Congratulations to the team who pulled together what one would hope will be the first of many repeat performances.
