Beaver Creek to offer wine excursions

BEAVER CREEK — Beaver Creek will begin a new event called the Beaver Creek Wine Excursions starting today and continuing every Thursday through Sept. 3. The Beaver Creek Wine Excursions will offer guests two ways to participate — via a 4×4 Mountain Adventure Tour or by hiking with a guide from Beaver Creek’s Hiking Center. Both tours end with a wine, cheese and charcuterie pairing at Beano’s Cabin.

ENJOY A DRIVE

Beaver Creek Wine Excursions via 4×4 Mountain Adventure Tour will allow guests to meet at the Summer Adventure Center in Beaver Creek Village at 2:15 p.m. and then enjoy a drive across the top of Beaver Creek Mountain with an expert guide pointing out views, flora and fauna, and explaining the history of the area. The guide will ultimately bring the tour vehicle to rest for one hour at Beano’s Cabin nestled at 9,200 feet at the base of Larkspur Bowl on the mountain.

Beano’s Cabin’s team will lead this wine and cheese pairing on the sun deck overlooking Grouse Mountain and Birds of Prey from 4 to 5 p.m. Wine selections from William Hill, Edna Valley and even La Marca Prosecco will be paired with cheeses, a charcuterie board and dessert. After the pairing, the tour will return to Beaver Creek Village.
