Vail Daily letter: Bruno for Vail council
November 4, 2013
Vail has an important opportunity to elect a very capable candidate in Jenn Bruno for Town Council. I have know her for 17 years from the time she moved to Vail after college willing to work at various jobs like most who move here, in retail, at Channel 8, then the Colorado Ski Museum, Eclipse Television and on to becoming a local entrepreneur with her husband, Luca, owning two clothing stores in Vail Village.
She also has rented in West Vail, owned a condo in East Vail and currently has a home in West Vail so she understands the challenges of renting and owning as a resident and would be knowledgeable from her real life experiences. Jenn better than any of the candidates has the background needed to truly represent all of the citizens, guests and workers that live or would like to live in the town we call Vail.
In addition, she has chosen to live and raise her two young boys in our local school system and is active as a parent and volunteer in many activities related to them and in the past has coached baseball and soccer for our local kids. That is not her only volunteerism — Jenn has been involved in many fundraisers for families with financial challenges never asking for any attention and going about it as a concerned parent and friend to many.
With what I know about her as a friend and involved citizen, we are fortunate to have someone with her sincere caring about our town and many abilities to want to run for Town Council. I hope the voters will consider her as the top candidate for the Vail Town Council.
