Vail Daily letter: She will be missed
Ryan Summerlin July 14, 2014
In addition to Jo Brown’s many contributions to the Vail Valley, first among them being an awesome mother and grandmother, she spent many hours serving as chairwoman of the Eagle County Republican Party walking precincts in Edwards and organizing events. I served as her vice-chair and learned valuable lessons from her amazing ability as a leader and a peacemaker between people with very different points of view. She had a cool head and a firm hand. She treated everyone with love and respect while guiding the party with a conservative vision. I have thought of her often and tried to emulate her amazing strength and gracious style.
She was a good friend and I will miss her. I believe the Lord welcomed Jo with open arms and she had a special place reserved for her in his kingdom.
