Vail Daily letter: Thanks for support
May 6, 2014
Thank you to the Eagle River Youth Coalition, ThinkFirst Chapter with the Vail Valley Medical Center, Eagle County Sheriff's Office, Eagle County Paramedic Services and Vail Police for conducting Safety Awareness Initiatives at Battle Mountain High School the week before prom. Your support was greatly appreciated by students and parents! These activities helped promote the importance of safety, making good decisions and stopping distractions while driving.
We also thank the following businesses for supporting the Battle Mountain Safety Initiative by providing gift cards and encouragement for safe drivers on the road for our young adults during the upcoming events — prom, graduation and summer break: Alpine Arts Center, Belmont Deli, Blue Moose, Bookworm of Edwards, Cafe 163, Edwards Express Care, Edwards Station, Fiesta's, Gore Range Brew Pub, Henry's Chinese Cafe, Larkburger, Local Joe's Marble Slab Creamery, Minturn Car Wash, Old Forge Pizza, Ptarmigan Sports, Smiling Moose, The Back Bowl and Zip Line Colorado Adventures.
And we thank our Battle Mountain parent and student community for their time and support in helping make this happen!
