VAIL — The Sonnenalp Hotel will play home to not one, but two nation houses during the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in February. The German Ski Association will take up residence each evening in Bully Ranch Restaurant, and Swiss Ski will host their celebrations each evening at Swiss Chalet.

The German House

The German Ski Association will host The German House at the Sonnenalp Vail presented by Hofbrau in Bully Ranch Restaurant every evening from Feb. 1-15. From 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. each night, guests are invited to enjoy a delicious three-course German dinner, beverages (beer, wine and soft drinks), live entertainment and the chance to meet the German Ski Association stars. Tickets are available to the general public for just $175 per person and include food, beverages and entertainment. Call the Sonnenalp Conference Services Department to book your tickets at 970-479-5435. The restaurant will be open to the public as usual for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but the restaurant will close from 4:30 to 6 p.m. each afternoon to prepare for the German House. Starting at 6 p.m., Bully Ranch will operate as the German House, serving only the special menu created for the event.
