Vail Daily letter: We have a problem
In 1899, Winston Churchill observed that “individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.”
Tribal culture, inbreeding, ignorance and illiteracy throughout the Middle East over the centuries has resulted in a culture of hatred toward the West, and the profound desire to convert the entire world to the Islamic faith, rule by Sharia law and death to all who will not submit.
It is most alarming to observe that all but one of the leaders of the free world recognizes this existential threat to what we comfortably refer to as civilization.
“Houston, we have a problem.”
