Vail Daily letter: My choices for Eagle-Vail

Eagle-Vail property owners will be casting ballots in the next couple weeks in order to elect two new individuals to the Eagle-Vail Property Owners Association. There are five candidates running for two positions. Although I am sure that all five genuinely love Eagle-Vail, only Skip Moss and Cindy Gilbert will put Eagle-Vail’s homeowners’ interests first and understand that all decisions they make have a direct impact on the community. The resounding defeat of 5A last year sent a strong message. Although the Property Owners Association is not directly responsible for maintaining Eagle-Vail’s recreational assets, we need to elect only those individuals who value and want to maintain all of our community assets and want to make sure that our youth, as well as adults, are provided with the opportunity to learn, enjoy and participate in golf, tennis and swimming. I believe that Skip Moss and Cindy Gilbert will do the very best in making sure that we continue to enjoy a “pleasant and safe community, while protecting the values of our properties.”
