MINTURN — Battle Mountain won Saturday’s CHSAA Nordic freestyle on Saturday at Minturn’s Maloit Park.

For the girls, the Huskies’ Grace Johnson, Liz Harding and Naomi Harding finished 1-3-5 for a 174-168 win over Steamboat Springs.

David Reilly (sixth), Max Timm (eighth) and Davis Krueger (ninth) did the deed for the Huskies boys.

The full field returns — a good number of elite racers were at a national qualifier in Utah this week — next weekend for a pursuit at Snow Mountain Ranch.
