Best Cycling Route — Best of Vail Valley 2019
1. Glenwood Canyon
2. Bike trail from Wolcott to Eagle
3. Colorado River Road
The bike path that stretches the length of the Glenwood Canyon is a hidden little gem of sorts. It’s flat enough that even young kids can cruise through but long enough to feel like you managed to get a good ride in. Park your car in Dotsero (or even farther east if you want more pavement time) and head west. The trail runs alongside the Colorado River, with a few underpasses to traverse. Pack some food to picnic at one of the several parks along the way, watch the rafters whoop it up and encourage the kayakers through some of the more gnarly whitewater sections. End the day with a sweet downhill into Glenwood Springs.

Are we seeing more bears because there are more bears on the valley floor, or because we’re all spending more time at home? It could be a bit of both.
