First things first. Leadfoot Linda Brodin really does have a lead foot. Her dad hung the moniker on her when she was a teenager learning to drive. The name stuck and the Brodin Clan hung it on their shop when they opened in 1984 in what used to be a chain gas station, across Vail’s Frontage Road from the Blockbuster store.

They migrated to EagleVail and a 10-bay shop in 2007, but the commitment to getting repairs right the first time didn’t change.

Their Vail Valley roots run deep. Kimberly and Ken learned the business from their father and mother, George and Linda, and from auto shop teacher Jay Taylor as Eagle Valley High School students.
