The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail is home to the traveling exhibit Rare Plants II: Imperiled Plants of Colorado through Oct. 7. The exhibit portrays rare plants in the Centennial state through a variety of art, which meets the criteria for scientific accuracy. Meet the artist Saturday, Aug. 26, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Alpine Gardens in Vail. The event is free with a $5 suggested donation.
