Empowering Youth

Africa Yoga Project creates possibilities in a culture where historically there hasn't been any. Africa Yoga Project educates, empowers, elevates and employs youth from Africa using the transformational practice of yoga. Its vision is to create opportunities for youth to step into their greatness and become self-sustaining leaders in their communities.

Christy Samuelson raised funds for Love. Teach. Serve. in October of 2015 and went to Nairobi, Kenya, where she joined a volunteer team that renovated an orphanage for deaf children. Her love and passion for Africa Yoga Project will continue in 2019 with another service project. She looks forward to being a bigger part of global service again as Africa Yoga Project creates leaders across the world causing positive change and growth.
