VAIL — New restaurants and lodging properties continue to sign on for the fourth-annual Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Week, commencing Friday, Sept. 30, and spanning across 10 days and two weekends until Sunday, Oct. 9, featuring an array of $20.16 restaurant specials and various hotel offers.

The event’s website, http://www.diningat altitude.com, includes favorite locations from the past three years of the event, as well as new restaurants and lodges that have come on board. Participating Vail restaurants include Sweet Basil, The Fitz, Elway’s, Root & Flower, White Bison, Terra Bistro and more, with Hooked, Grouse Mountain Grill, The Black Diamond Bistro and other restaurants in Beaver Creek also hopping aboard.

Though the $20.16 dining specials have traditionally been the stars of the week, returning lodging locations such as the Sonnenalp and The Sebastian, along with new additions such as The Ritz-Carleton Residences and The Arrabelle, offer more lodging options for visitors from across the country. Event organizers encourage visitors and locals to check the site often, as more and more specials are being added every week.

Beyond the specials for the 2016 Restaurant Week, Top Shelf Harvest will be returning for a third year on Saturday, Oct. 1, bringing a happy hour celebration with live music, tastings and mixology contests. Taking place in Lionshead Village from 3 to 6 p.m., the event aims to entertain with inventive cocktails and food samples from Colorado distilleries valley restaurants.

“We are thrilled to overlap once again with Top Shelf Harvest,” said Sarah Franke, of Group970 Restaurants, which coordinates Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Week. “The event is a great pair for Restaurant Week and provides our guests with a fun afternoon of activity that fits as a perfect lead-in to a great night out in Vail, enjoying the $20.16 restaurant week offers.”
