Harvest by Kelly Liken launches Sunday brunch, daily happy hour

EDWARDS — Harvest by Kelly Liken, the newest concept from chef Kelly Liken, is now open for Sunday brunch and daily happy hour throughout the fall and winter season. Diners can choose from a variety of dishes and small bites focusing on approachable, Colorado seasonal cuisine, along with an inventive cocktail and beverage program.

Located at the Sonnenalp Club in Edwards, Harvest by Kelly Liken offers an ever-changing, seasonal menu, infusing hyper-local ingredients procured through collaborations with Colorado's community of farmers.

Sunday brunch

The Sunday brunch menu includes items such as pulled pork hash with crispy potatoes, caramelized onions, sunny side up eggs, ranchera and arugula; the Harvest benny, with house-made Canadian bacon, grilled asparagus and Hollandaise sauce served on an English muffin along with breakfast potatoes; and pumpkin pie French toast, with challah bread, maple creme and candied pecans.

Lunch items are also available, including the Harvest burger, with all-natural beef, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions on a sesame seed bun, served with hand-cut French fries; and the kale, quinoa and beet salad with fresh tarragon, sunflower seeds, citrus-infused yogurt and orange vinaigrette.

Cocktails for Sunday sipping include the Cucumber-Lime Elixir, with fresh cucumber-lime juice and local Colorado CapRock Gin, and the Patio Pounder, with fresh basil muddled with lime juice, balsamic syrup and Bulleit Bourbon, topped with ginger ale. Fresh house-made juices and smoothies and a full wine and beer selection round out the beverage offerings. Menu prices range from $5 to $12, with smoothies and juices between $7 and $8, and beer, wine and cocktail prices range from $5 to $16.

Happy hour

Harvest's happy hour offers an opportunity for guests to experience smaller portions of the savory options on the dinner menu, including PEI mussels with Spanish chorizo, fennel, white wine tomato broth, fresh herbs and grilled ciabatta bread; Colorado elk chili with white cheddar, green onions, creme fraiche and homemade tortillas; and grilled buffalo chicken wings with house-made buffalo sauce, carrots, celery and blue cheese slaw.

Signature dishes distinct to the happy hour menu include hot Italian roast beef sliders with savory tomato sauce, giardiniera and provolone cheese. Sunday's extended happy hour, from 3 to 6:30 p.m., allows patrons the opportunity to take in the day's televised sporting action on the big screen in the bar. Happy hour menu prices range from $2 to $14, while beer, wine and cocktail prices range from $3 to $16.
