Tickets are on sale and going quickly for the kickoff event of the Gourmet on Gore culinary festival in Vail. The Gourmet on Gore Tasting Tour takes culinary treasures from town and places them into some of the most beautiful spaces in Vail.

From art galleries to shops and even an Airstream, the Tasting Tour explores town and includes a unique dining experience, all benefiting Vail Veterans Program.

The Gourmet on Gore Tasting Tour takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday; tickets cost $75.

Go In Any Order

Start off the evening by receiving credentials at the first location, a pop-up location in Vail Village that features an amuse-bouche (a single, chef-selected bite-sized hors d'œuvre).

Stops can be experienced in any order throughout the evening, wandering between art galleries and iconic locations for small bites paired with tasty drinks from some of Vail's best restaurants.

"Due to the massive popularity of this event, we have raised the number of available spots available to purchase almost every year," said James Deighan, of Highline, organizer of the event. "This event has sold out since the first time we produced it because it's so unique. What a great way to spend an evening strolling through town, eating and drinking from the best chefs in town enjoying the best art in town, all while benefiting the Vail Veterans Program."

'We Need Reminders'

For the third year, the Tasting Tour is partnering with the Vail Veterans Program. Established in 2004, the Vail Veterans Program offers military injured and their families free, world-class therapeutic programs designed to build confidence, create lifelong relationships and tap into the natural beauty and atmosphere of the mountains.

"For us, as an organization, it's important to find great partners like Gourmet on Gore to not only help raise the awareness of the mission of our organization, but also to keep veterans in the forefront of people's minds," said Cheryl Jensen, president of the Vail Veterans Program. "We need reminders of how important their service is for all of us."

Tickets are now on sale for this exclusive Friday evening event, but will sell out. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit http://www.gourmetongore.com. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
