During the 2016-2017 school year, 59 Career X students completed internships and 150 students participated in 10 various job shadows. During the fall semester of the 2017-2018 school year, there are currently 59 interns and 11 job shadows with 160 student participants in the two schools.

Job shadows in the Career X program consist of a half-day or full-day on-site business visit that includes informational interviews with business professionals and their respective career path. The students are also able to receive a site tour. Internships for high school juniors and seniors provide meaningful career tasks and work, mentorship from business partners, and job-readiness skill development. Students are often able to move into employment after internships.

During the week of Nov. 5-11, an election was held in Eagle County and Vail, Veterans Day was observed and celebrated and students were given an opportunity to get an inside look into the medical field.
