Random Rab takes the stage at Agave
Random Rab, aka Rab Clinton, will play Agave on Friday, March 31. Rab is known for his dreamscape-like tracks and deep sunrise sets at festivals or playing as the moon passes in front of the sun for an energetic eclipse set. He wants his music to be accessible to everyone and therefore believes the music does not need to be about something, rather, it just is. Rab likes the intellectual challenge in music, versus the auditory one, and incorporates and draws from slower down-tempo beats, hip-hop roots, ’90s influences and deep bass lines. Opening for Random Rab is Cualli, aka Aaron Holsapple. Cualli’s sets are generally accompanied by guitar, as well as occasional live sitar performances. Doors open at 9:30 p.m., and the show starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $15. Call 970-748-8666 or visit http://www.agaveavon.com to learn more.
