Ring in 2019 with sound bath meditation at Studio Anjali
Studio Anjali at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa is offering free sound bath meditation Sessions on Thursday at 2 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 5:30 p.m.
The 45-minute group sound therapy sessions will feature Himalayan singing bowls and some light meditation. The classes will be held in The Westin Riverfront’s Studio Anjali.
Sound Therapy produces profound relaxation, bringing the receivers brain wave frequencies into an alpha or theta state; these are frequencies used to heal on a cellular level. Sound reinstates health and wellbeing by restoring the natural frequencies of our body, mind and energy.
There are many benefits to sound therapy, including:
reducing stress through deep relaxation and endorphin release,
enhancing the body’s own self-healing response,
promoting deeper sleep,
relief from headache, fatigue, insomnia, digestive disorders, pain, menstrual disorders, nausea, dizziness and emotional imbalances and
balancing the chakra energy centers.
Spa Anjali is also now offering a new sound therapy treatment. Priced at $125 for 50 minutes now through Feb. 8, this energy balancing treatment is a perfect antidote for total relaxation of the body, mind and spirit. Tibetan Singing bowls are placed on and around your body as your energy fields are balanced and enhanced through the resonating sound and vibrations.

Elevate your side dish this Thanksgiving. It may be a healthier version, but this green bean casserole still has that crispy and crunchy topping like the original.
