Rocky Mountain Ski Fest to welcome Chase Rice to stage
Platinum-selling country music artist Chase Rice will headline the Rocky Mountain Ski Fest, to be held in the Colorado Rockies from Feb. 20 to 21.
Singers, songwriters and celebrities will come together for the annual event to raise money for the Vail Veterans Program, a philanthropic effort that transforms the lives of injured military individuals and their families through innovative programs designed to build confidence, create life-long relationships and tap into the freedom of the mountains.
An avid snowboarder, Rice will join musical greats such as acclaimed artist Edwin McCain, former member of the trio Trick Pony Ira Dean, Grammy Award-winning songwriters Chris DeStefano and Jon Nite and more to be announced.
The event will offer participants the opportunity to ski with some of the country’s top musicians and celebrities during the Rocky Mountain Ski Fest scavenger hunt and attend the apres ski concert in the village.
“There is going to be so much musical talent in Vail Village that week in February, the show is going to be epic,” said Mollie Chase, founder and CEO of sEVENTeen, who will put on the event. “We can’t wait to hit the slopes and hear some great music to raise money for the men and women injured while fighting for our freedom.”
Due to the exclusive nature of this event, there are only a limited number of spots available. To donate, participate or become a sponsor, visit http://www.rockymtnskifest.com. Proceeds will benefit Vail Veterans Program, making purchases and donations tax-deductible.
