Here are some tips from the town of Avon for those attending the event:
Parking close to the venue is by permit only. General parking is limited — walking, biking and public transportation is encouraged.
Bags and coolers will be checked at all festival entry points for alcohol (no outside alcohol is allowed).
Pets are encouraged to be left at home. Dogs on-leash will be allowed on the north side of the park until 2 p.m.
Stand-up paddleboard and paddle boat rentals from Nottingham beach are available until 2:50 p.m.
Be prepared, and plan ahead. Due to high volume of traffic after the fireworks, cars will be directed through detours on the way out.
