TNERTLE to take the Agave stage
If you go ...
What: Tacos N’ Tuesday: TNERTLE.
When: Tonight, 10 p.m.
Where: Agave in Avon.
Partnering with Bonfire Brewing and Exotico Tequila, Agave will present TNERTLE, a Denver-based electro-funk and hip-hop group consisting of Trent Campbell (bass), Kyle Ayervais (drums), Leah Concialdi (saxophone), Alice Hansen (trumpet), Jon Kenney (trombone), Ty Hughes (guitar) and Ray Salazar (MC).
In 1999, Campbell and Ayervais met in their seventh-grade jazz band. Playing together in rock bands all the way to their senior year of high school, Campbell and Ayervais decided to head to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music.
In 2012, the two formed TNERTLE out of the inspiration to create original music and have fun. Most recently, the duo has added a horn section and guitars and frequent appearances by guest vocalists and instrumentalists. You will hear everything from electro, hip-hop, reggae and funk.
The band will take the stage tonight at 10 p.m., and will be free. The show is part of Agave’s Tacos ’N’ Tunes concert series.
Free Memorial Day screening of “They Shall Not Grow Old” is one-off event before the Vilar Performing Arts Center’s summer series kicks off next month.
