The Vail Summer Bluegrass Series returns this summer for its sixth iteration. New to 2019 is a change of location to Solaris Plaza in Vail Village. Vail Summer Bluegrass takes place Wednesdays June 26 to July 17. All shows are from 6 to 9 p.m. and are free to attend.

The lineup includes Trout Steak Revival (June 26); Jeremy Garrett, of the Infamous Stringdusters & Friends (July 3); Hackensaw Boys (July 10); and the Lonesome Days, the Sweet Lillies and Avenhart (July 17).

On July 3, joining fiddle player Jeremy Garrett will be Drew Emmitt, of Leftover Salmon, Adam Aijala, of Yonder Mountain String Band; Adrian Engfer, of The Grant Farm, and Ryan Cavanaugh. The “friends” will be Vail locals Meadow Mountain.

Also new for 2019, intimate shows will take place at 1 p.m. at Vail Brewing Co. in Vail Village, featuring acoustic performances, a percentage of proceeds goes to the town’s Restore the Gore initiatives.
