VAIl — The Vail Symposium kicks off its summer Consciousness Series Lecture & Workshop on June 8-9 with Dr. Donese Worden, a doctor of naturopathic medicine who has been featured on the cover of National Speakers Association’s magazine and is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University, teaching an integrative medicine program.

On Thursday, June 8, Worden will give a lecture titled “Integrative Approaches to Patient Care” at 7 p.m. at the Four Seasons Resort Vail; and on Friday, June 9, she will lead a workshop, Transformational Aha Moments in Medicine, at 9:30 a.m.

In Vail, Worden will talk about how her integrative medical approach of treating the whole patient and how it can empower her patients to make contributions to their own healing. In the workshop, Worden will work to identify the core issues that cause most health problems and present natural and holistic options for addressing those problems. This immersive workshop provides an exploratory setting in a scientific and fun manner.



Participants will leave with a personalized plan that can easily be implemented into their day-to-day lives and will also learn how to establish good sleep patterns and ways to begin and end each day in a way that increases energy levels.
