10-20 inches expected for Vail

VAIL, Colorado ” The snow will last all night, all morning and stretch into Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service said Thursday.

Ten to 20 inches of snow are expected is accumulate from the storm, said Jeff Colton, a meteorogist for the weather service.

It will be windy, too, especially on Vail Pass, Colton said.



“A lot of blowing snow up there,” he said.

Another storm is due in Vail on Friday night into Saturday that could bring 3-6 inches.

And yet another storm next Wednesday could bring a foot to the area, Colton said.

“It’s just a wet pattern,” Colton said.
