2 dead in separate crashes in western Colorado
GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado ” Two people are dead following separate single-vehicle crashes over the weekend in western Colorado.
The Colorado State Patrol says a woman died early yesterday after the car she was driving went out of control on eastbound Interstate 70 and rolled into westbound traffic.
The woman, who was not wearing her seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene. Her name has not been released.
Another crash yesterday afternoon claimed the life of a Glenwood Springs man.
Authorities say 30-year-old Carlos Sandoval-Ramives was southbound on Colorado 133 just after 1 p.m. when he drifted off the left side of the road and hit a tree.
