Huff won two medals at the Youth Olympic Games in South Korea this January. He claimed dual moguls silver and won the team dual moguls gold medal alongside fellow SSCV skier Liz Lemley. The 15-year-old also finished 22nd in the dual moguls at his World Cup debut in Deer Valley in February.

Meanwhile, Chapdelaine just finished her best NorAm season. The 18-year-old finished the year sixth in the overall moguls standings and was the third American behind Kasey Hogg (first) and Kylie Kariotis (fifth). Chapdelaine’s best finish prior to this season was 17th in 2022.
SSCV has a history of success at Junior Worlds as well. Lemley won the 2022 moguls title and finished second in the dual moguls event. Morgan Schild picked up two silvers in 2014 and Tess Johnson won a silver medal in moguls in 2016. Johnson recorded four top-10 finishes in two Junior Worlds appearances.
The Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships will include mixed team events for aerials and dual moguls, along with moguls, dual moguls and aerials events for both men and women.
