Give a shout out: Rotary! My entire high school experience would have been so much different had it not been for this amazing organization sending me to Argentina for the best year of my life.

Rose Martinez

Favorite school moment from any year: My favorite school moment has probably been my fourth-grade Mesa Verde trip with Red Sandstone. Every moment was amazing and I miss it so much.
Give a shout out: I want to give a shout out to my loving parents, Susan and Lorenzo. Also to Jeremy and Christine and my future niece/nephew. 🙂
Summer plans: My summer plans are to work and go to California and Wyoming with the people I love.
Where are you headed this fall: I will be attending the University of Northern Colorado this fall.
If you’re leaving Eagle County, what will you miss most: I am going to miss the wonderful people this valley has, and Minturn’s nature that has surrounded me since I was little.
In 10 years, you’ll be: In 10 years, I will be a businesswoman who can do anything and has done just about everything. I am making my way to the top!
Favorite class ever: Ms. Allen’s Kindergarten class was my favorite, even though I got in trouble all the time …
Class you wish had been offered: I wish there would have been a financial readiness class offered. That stuff is important!

Favorite school moment from any year: All VMS sports memories I’ve made.

Summer plans: Traveling Europe on the Eurail with my boy Scott (Cheffboi) Swimm.
Where you going this fall, bruh? CU Boulder-Leeds School of Business.
What will you miss about Eagle County? I will miss all of my friends, family and the outdoors, where I’ve made lots of my memories.
