3 feet of snow in Colorado High Country

SUMMIT COUNTY – Mother Nature hit it ‘out of the park’ with yet another ‘Rocktober’ snowstorm that delivered up to 2 feet of snow at the Colorado resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone this week.
This, just in time for the start of the World Series match up between the Colorado Rockies and the Boston Red Sox.
Vail reported a foot of new snow mid-mountain from the latest storm, Beaver Creek, Keystone and Breckenridge tallied 10 inches mid-mountain (72-hour snow stake reports) with up to 2 feet reported at the summits.
A series of fall snowstorms have delivered up to 3 feet of snow at the Colorado resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone this month.
Colorado Rockies fever has hit the Centennial State and while eager fans are counting down to the Wednesday, Oct. 24 kick off of The World Series game, eager snow fans are counting down to the opening days for Breckenridge and Keystone on Nov. 9, Vail on Nov. 16 and Beaver Creek on Nov. 21.
