Sarah Mausolf
Vail CO, Colorado

Breakfast: Route 6 Cafe, Eagle-Vail

The meal: “Breakfast burrito. You get a good amount of food for your money. It’s a good, hearty burrito.”

Lunch: Sandbar Sports Grill, West Vail

The meal: “Cheeseburger in paradise. It’s just a good, juicy burger and it takes like they put seasoning in the patty. It doesn’t taste like a frozen patty.”

Dinner: The George, Vail

The meal: “The cajun tuna sandwich is amazing. That would be, like, my last meal. It’s not what you would expect. It’s not canned tuna. It’s a fat tuna steak.”

Breakfast: Loaded Joe’s, Avon

The meal: “I like the biscuits and gravy burrito. I like that I can get it and get it to go and be up on the hill really quick.”

Lunch: Carniceria Tepic, Avon

The meal: “They have a great chicken burrito. All their burritos and everything there: super authentico.”

Dinner: Terra Bistro, Vail

The meal: “I usually get one of their fish plates. For the mountains, their fish dishes are right up my alley. Very good.”

Breakfast: The Westside Cafe and Market, West Vail

The meal: “I like the breakfast burrito, spicy. It has everything in it. They make it perfect and it’s crispy on the outside.”

Lunch: Foxnut Asian Fusion and Sushi, Beaver Creek

The meal: “I like the big ‘O.’ Crab and salmon dynamited. It’s just good.”

Dinner: Balata Restaurant, Edwards

The meal: “My favorite is the inside-out lobster spring rolls for appetizers. They’re so good. The lobster’s fried but the outside isn’t. It’s really light. My favorite entree, I guess, I’d say the ahi. It’s filet of ahi. Really tender and served over jicama slaw.”
