4-H Club projects News News | Nov 20, 2016 Please welcome Optimus Prime, Black Diamond and Bullet to the Vail Valley. These two steers and a heifer are being raised on the Moyer Farm in Eagle. Michael Gorla, a Sophmore at Vail Christian High School is raising Optimus Prime. Maverick Gorla, of Stone Creek Charter Academy, is raising Black Diamond. Steele Moyer, of Brush Creek Elementary, is raising Bullet. These 4-H projects take 9 months of hard work and commitment. All three children secured Ag loans through the Farm Services Bureau to buy them. They will be ready for the Junior Livestock Auction at the end of July.
