6th arrest made in deaths of 2 Colorado teens found on road

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A sixth person has been arrested in connection with the deaths of two Colorado teenagers whose bodies were found on a rural road and authorities are looking for two more people.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that a 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to influence a public servant in the case. It also asked for the public’s help in finding a 28-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy.

The bodies of 15-year-old Derek Benjamin Greer and 16-year-old Natalie Partida were found March 12 by a passing driver about 20 miles south of Colorado Springs near Pikes Peak International Raceway.

Authorities haven’t said how the teens died or released any details about a possible motive.
