88 motorcyclists killed in Colo. accidents in ’09
FORT COLLINS – Transpiration officials say Larimer County had the most people killed on motorcycles in 2009 with 13 fatalities.
The Colorado Department of Transpiration says there were 88 motorcyclists who died in the state last year, a decline from 2008 when 98 riders died in accidents. The figures were released this week.
CDOT says El Paso County had the second highest number of motorcyclists killed with 11. Jefferson, Adams, and Arapahoe counties each had seven deaths.
CDOT says that about one in five traffic fatalities last year involved a motorcycle.
