A dashing success in Vail
Vail, CO, Colorado
The Mike Janelle Memorial Davos Dash was indeed a success. We raised just over $2,000, which is not too shabby considering our challenging economy and the simple fact that it was a relatively small group of people!
More importantly, if you took one look at Maribel and her family, it was clear that our efforts meant the world to them. The continued support for Maribel and Mikey is the grandest gesture, and so I thank you for playing a part.
And big props to our donors! You made this evening possible without fuss by giving freely and with love. Thank you, Bruce (Pedal Power); John (Street Swell); Todd (Volkl); Ty, Roxanne and Cannon (Tennessee Pass Cookhouse); Josh, Richard and Rodney (The Sandbar); and Beth, Mark and the crew at the Vail Recreation District.
Thanks to my girls (Team High Maintenance) and our sponsors (Rooly and Land Rover Roaring Fork), who always help us soar as a team. Finally, thank you to the cycling community and to all who attended the event. Your generosity is much appreciated!
