A few vendor spots remain for Minturn Winter Market

MINTURN, Colorado ” The Annual Minturn Winter Market, sponsored by the Vail Daily, is scheduled for Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in downtown Minturn.

The Winter Market still has openings for a few, select vendors, including non-profit groups.

Carole Colletti, owner of Grammy’s Jams and a driving force for the Minturn Market, said visitors can expect between 35 and 40 vendors at the market.

“We expect this year’s market to be a fantastic opportunity for locals and visitors alike,” she said. “We will have decorations, gift items, and gourmet foods of the highest quality.”

Santa Claus will visit the market from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Children can get an up-close look at a group of llamas being brought in for the event. Live music will be provided by the Dickens Carolers, the Mountain Harmony group and Jack Panter, who will play holiday tunes on his accordion. Children can roast marshmallows around the fire pit.

“We want to make it a fun, bonding experience for everyone,” Colletti said.
